Transcribe audio to text, in the language it was spoken

Upload a recording or record on your phone, and NarratifAI turns speech into text with every speaker labelled. Made for Yoruba, Igbo, Hausa and Nigerian English, and fluent in 90+ other languages.

How it works

  1. 1

    Upload or record

Drop in an MP3, WAV, M4A, OGG, FLAC or MP4 file up to 500 MB, or record straight from the app.

  2. 2

    Choose the language

Pick the language spoken, or leave it on Auto-detect. Recordings that switch between English and Yoruba are handled part by part.

  3. 3

    Get your transcript

Read it with speaker names and timestamps, edit names with a tap, and download it as TXT, SRT, VTT, CSV or JSON.

Nigerian languages first

Yoruba, Igbo and Hausa go through speech models built for those languages (in Beta). If a transcript isn't right, redo it free or get your credits back.

Who said what

Every line is labelled by speaker at no extra cost, so interviews, calls and lectures read like a script.

Subtitles and exports

Export SRT or VTT subtitles for video, or plain text and CSV for notes and research.

Long recordings

Hour-long recordings are fine. They process in the background and the app tells you when the transcript is ready.

Free Browser mode

On the website, Browser mode transcribes entirely on your own computer, free and without uploading the audio.

Private by default

Audio is only kept while it is being transcribed. Your transcripts stay in your account until you delete them.
