Using NarratifAI

These terms apply when you use the NarratifAI app or website, run by Consulaw Technologies. By using NarratifAI you agree to them, and to our Acceptable Use Policy.

You must have the right to record and transcribe any audio you upload, including the consent of the people speaking where the law requires it.

Your account

You sign in with Google, Apple or email/password and are responsible for activity on your account. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has used it.

Credits and payments

Cloud transcription uses credits, with audio duration rounded up to the next minute: one credit per minute, or two on Most accurate. AI meeting minutes cost five credits. Translation costs one credit per 400 characters, rounded up, with a minimum of five credits. The estimated price is shown before processing. Reopening an existing saved result does not start a new paid job. New verified accounts receive starter credits; Browser-mode transcription is free.

Before processing starts, we reserve the estimated credits and temporarily reduce your available balance. Successful work settles against that reservation; failed or cancelled work is refunded to the balance that funded it. Credits can be purchased through Paystack or Apple where offered. The amount displayed at checkout is the total we charge; contact support for applicable tax documentation. Our Refund & Credits Policy explains refunds.

Team workspaces and shared credits

Creating a workspace does not buy a subscription. Initial workspaces have five seats including the owner. Owners may transfer purchased credits into the shared wallet; starter and promotional credits cannot be transferred. Funding a wallet does not itself process content.

Members explicitly choose personal or team billing for new work. This choice applies across their devices. The team wallet pays for authorized members’ processing, including translations and minutes. Owners can review recent wallet activity and remove members. Removed members cannot start new charges against it, and refunds go to the original funding wallet.

Owners must transfer ownership to another active member or close the workspace before deleting their account. Closure waits for active jobs to finish, removes memberships and returns unused wallet credits to the owner. Team transfers do not waive applicable refund rights; contact support to reconcile unused purchased credits and the original payment.

Accuracy

Transcripts, speaker labels, tone descriptions and meeting minutes are produced by AI and can contain mistakes. Check anything important before relying on it, especially for legal, medical or financial use.

Your content

Your recordings and transcripts belong to you. You give us permission to process them only to provide the service, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Our service

NarratifAI’s original software, design and brand belong to Consulaw Technologies. Third-party components remain subject to their owners’ licenses. You may not copy or resell our service without permission, except as allowed by applicable law or licenses.

We work to keep NarratifAI running, but it may sometimes be unavailable or change. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Ending your use

You can stop using NarratifAI and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or our Acceptable Use Policy.

Changes and law

If we change these terms we will update the date above and tell you in the app for significant changes. Continuing to use NarratifAI after a change means you accept it.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
