- Join your meeting in a Chrome tab, open the Companion and tap Open meeting recorder.

- Let participants know and confirm permission to record.
- Select the meeting’s Chrome tab and enable Share tab audio.
- Keep the recorder tab open. Stop, preview and download when finished.
- Sign into the intended NarratifAI account and upload your recording.
Use headphones for clearer audio. The recorder’s microphone is separate from your meeting’s mute control. Saved audio is accessible to anyone using this Chrome profile.
Local recording has no provider fee. Cloud transcription uses NarratifAI credits; choose local processing where available. Maximum recording length is two hours, subject to browser storage limits.
